Tanya Sullivan, Plus One’s President and Managing Partner, joined a dozen female rural broadband industry colleagues on May 18, 2017. The day was centered on the synergies that could be created by women leaders in public policy hearing from women leaders in the rural broadband industry. The participants included female leaders that help provide high-speed broadband across rural America, as well as representatives from NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association. The group met with representatives in Congress and at the FCC. The group also attended fundraiser events for Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar (D) and Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer (R), both strong rural broadband advocates.
“I was so pleased and honored to join such a strong group of rural broadband leaders and share the importance of connectivity, especially in rural America,” said Sullivan.
